Mark P. Bushway , Chief Supply Chain Officer

Mark P. Bushway was appointed our Chief Supply Chain Officer in December 2021. Previously he served as our Region President of the Atlantic Region since August 2018. Mr. Bushway previously served as our Region Vice President of Operations, from November 2010 to August 2018. Mr. Bushway also has served as our National Director of Real Estate & Construction (November 2008 to November 2010); Operations Project Manager (2006 to 2008); and General Manager in our Chesterfield Distribution Center (2003 to 2006). Prior to joining us, Mr. Bushway served as Regional Project Manager for C&S Wholesale Grocers from 2000 until 2003 as well as holding various other leadership positions in his time at C&S, which began in 1989.

Steve P. Dietz, Chief Customer Officer

Steve P. Dietz has served as our Chief Customer officer since September 2021. He previously served as Region President, Pacific Region from August 2018, Vice President of Sales, Pacific Region from August 2016 to August 2018 and Executive Vice President, Tony’s Fine Foods from August 2012 to August 2016.  Mr. Dietz also held various leadership roles in Sales, Marketing and Procurement at Tony’s Fine Foods from August 2000 to August 2012.  Prior to joining us Mr. Dietz served as a Product Marketing Manager at Intel Corporation.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Stacey Kravitz, President, UNFI Canada

Stacey Kravitz has served as our President UNFI Canada since August 2020. Previously Ms. Kravitz served as our Senior Vice President of Sales, UNFI Canada. Prior to joining UNFI in 2015, she spent 20 years at Kraft Canada then Kraft Heinz Company Canada in progressive sales roles, culminating in leading Canada’s largest retailer Loblaw Companies LTD., as Customer Vice President. Ms. Kravitz is a graduate of McGill University and the Queens and Ivey Executive Program where she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree and an Executive education in Strategic Planning and Finance certificate. In May of 2019, she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) and is currently serving as the vice chair and chair of the Human Resources committee. Most recently in October 2020 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Grocery Foundation another non-for profit organization whose vision is “no hungry kids at school”, believing in a Canada that is True, North, Strong and Fed.

Mario Maffie, Chief Information Officer

Mario Maffie has served as our Chief Information Officer since October 2023. Prior to joining UNFI, Mr. Maffie spent 24 years at Mars Incorporated, a privately held American multinational manufacturer known for its confectionery, pet food, and other food products and animal care services. He most recently served as Mars’ Corporate Chief Information Officer since 2018, where he oversaw technology for corporate functions, including HR, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and others, as well as global technology capabilities like master data management, reporting and integration services and platforms, automation, supply chain and global ERP. Earlier in his career, he also served on the integration team responsible for bringing together Mars and Wrigley, which achieved the successful harmonization of the data center, network, infrastructure, service desk, and IT organization. He has experience launching global master data platform with SAP MDG as well as leading the first global deployment at Mars of predictive AI-based financial performance products. Mr. Maffie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Immaculata University.

David Matthews , President, National Sales

David Matthews has served as our President, National Sales since July 2018. Mr. Matthews previously served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Sales. Prior to that, Mr. Matthews was our International President from 2010 to 2015 and President of our Eastern Region from 2009 to 2010. Prior to joining UNFI, Mr. Matthews was the Chief Executive Officer of Progressive Group Alliance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Performance Food Group.

John Raiche , Executive Vice President, Supplier Services

John Raiche has served as our Executive Vice President, Supplier Services since August 2018.  Mr. Raiche held numerous roles in his more than two decades with the Company, including responsibilities managing Marketing, Events, Category Management, and Supplier Management functions. He also was a minority owner and Vice President, Marketing at B.I.N. Sales and Marketing for 5 years, at the time the largest independent broker in the Natural industry.  Mr. Raiche has been a previous Council Member of the Specialty Food Association for 6 years.
